Men’s Adventure magazines began in the 1950s and were gone by the early 1970s. They have their origins in earlier Girly magazines and Spicy pulps. These magazines have perilous stories about fighting the Nazis, spying, or doing other macho deeds in exotic locations. The adventures always include beautiful women – similar to a James Bond story. The articles include exciting art by such great artists as Gil Cohen, Rafael DeSoto, Samson Pollen, Rudy Nappi, and others.
